There are many different types of massage, and they all have their own healing benefits. all massage therapists are also different but what they do to the body is, all the same, they use different techniques to speed up the blood circulation/ warm the muscle and then break down any toxins formed in the system. It is an amazing way to revive the tired/aching body or to simply zen the mind. Here at The Reiki Room a few different massages are performed, my favourite being Aromatherapy massage as this is the most relaxing and the essential oils used can do the hard work for you, a very nice way to heal from the inside out,  also performed is the slightly deeper Swedish massage or the Hot Stones (a combination of hot and cold stones can be used to combat a multitude of problems).

    Indian Head Massage is also a great choice for anyone who suffers from headaches, migraines, or sinus problems. It is recommended a massage once a month is a great way to keep the pain away, keeping the body cleansed and revived.  An aromatherapy massage is a great choice for anyone, aiding anything from Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, arthritis, joint discomfort, blood pressure problems, poor circulation, menstrual problems, skin complaints, menopause, asthma, depression, pregnancy.

    Hot and cold stones massage is a great choice for, hot targeting deeper relaxation of the muscles allowing the massage to penetrate deeper and more effectively whilst the cold can trick the muscle to contract to allow a more effective recovery. great for tired muscles, sciatica, circulation problems, or simply for the client who prefers a deeper massage with the heat.

    Hot and cold stones can be incorporated into face and foot reflexology, great for a multitude of problems ranging from facial skin breakouts to gout or plantar fasciitis in the feet.
